Bairro Alto is one of the main parts of Lisbon. Since the 1990s numerous renovations made this area more attractive to young people who started to move into its tall houses. There were opened a lot of bars, shops, restaurants and galleries. Bairro Alto is the Lisbon’s cultural and nightlife epicenter, a characteristic barely noticeable during tha day.
